Vice President of Engineering

As the Vice President of Engineering, you will be the management backbone of our Pakistan operation, responsible for leading and mentoring our engineering teams while ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and solutions. You will work closely with our global leadership team to align the engineering efforts in Lahore with the company’s overall strategic goals. This role requires a seasoned engineering leader with exceptional people management skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the engineering teams in Lahore, ensuring alignment with the company’s global objectives.
  • People Management: Mentor, coach, and develop engineering talent, fostering a high-performance culture that encourages growth, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Technical Oversight: Oversee all engineering activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement engineering strategies that support the company’s business goals and drive operational excellence.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the key point of contact for global leadership regarding engineering operations in Pakistan, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Budget Management: Manage the engineering budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining high standards of delivery.
  • Recruitment and Retention: Lead the recruitment and retention efforts for the engineering team, ensuring that we attract and retain top talent.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with a strong track record of managing and developing large engineering teams.
  • Exceptional people management skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and lead diverse teams to achieve their best performance.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and execution, with the ability to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
