As the Vice President of Engineering, you will be the management backbone of our Pakistan operation, responsible for leading and mentoring our engineering teams while ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and solutions. You will work closely with our global leadership team to align the engineering efforts in Lahore with the company’s overall strategic goals. This role requires a seasoned engineering leader with exceptional people management skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the engineering teams in Lahore, ensuring alignment with the company’s global objectives.
- People Management: Mentor, coach, and develop engineering talent, fostering a high-performance culture that encourages growth, innovation, and collaboration.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee all engineering activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet or exceed industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement engineering strategies that support the company’s business goals and drive operational excellence.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the key point of contact for global leadership regarding engineering operations in Pakistan, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Budget Management: Manage the engineering budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining high standards of delivery.
- Recruitment and Retention: Lead the recruitment and retention efforts for the engineering team, ensuring that we attract and retain top talent.
Qualifications:
