Marketing Operations Specialist

Position Summary

As the Marketing Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting marketing systems, data quality, and operational processes. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, process-oriented mindset. You will work closely with Marketing Operations and cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, optimize workflows, and support the reporting and analytics needs of the organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Manually process inquiries from multiple inbound sources as required, ensuring data accuracy and proper routing based on established workflows
  • Monitor incoming inquiries to ensure data integrity and SLA adherence and flag breaches with appropriate teams
  • Identify and troubleshoot data gaps, inconsistencies, and process breakages, proactively driving solutions or escalating as needed
  • Test operational workflows, provide feedback, and support refinement initiatives
  • Perform manual and automated data standardization and normalization tasks to maintain high-quality data across systems
  • Own ad hoc report building and performance analysis to help identify trends and opportunities for optimization
  • Maintain strong organizational practices to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support data and process-related initiatives and ensure smooth cross-functional execution
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of marketing operations by documenting best practices and recommending workflow enhancements

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing operations or related fields
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data handling
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proven project management capability with a process-oriented mindset
  • Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce CRM (required), with experience navigating objects, reports, and basic configurations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Marketo or other marketing automation platforms
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other reporting tools
  • Experience with data enrichment tools such as RingLead
  • Experience working in a global B2B environment
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, JSON, or SQL a plus
