Job Summary:
The Channel Marketing Performance Manager is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the performance of various marketing channels. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing metrics, strong proficiency in Power BI and SFDC, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. A key emphasis of this role is gathering business requirements and developing a robust reporting and measurement strategy, along with performing in-app reporting (including Oktopost, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, Marketo and Salesforce). The successful candidate will work closely with marketing teams, data analysts, and stakeholders to drive strategic decisions and improve marketing effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Build, maintain and optimize an end-to-end multi touch attribution model.
- Define the Power BI measurement strategy end-to-end.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for various marketing channels (e.g., digital, social media, email, SEO, PPC).
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data through regular audits and validation processes.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into Power BI for comprehensive analysis.
- Build monthly board slides and identify insights; deliver team read-outs.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Continuously monitor marketing channel performance and campaign effectiveness.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement through detailed analysis.
- Provide real-time and periodic reports to marketing teams and senior management.
- Insights and Recommendations:
- Translate complex data sets into clear and actionable insights.
- Provide strategic recommendations to optimize marketing efforts and improve ROI.
- Support the decision-making process with data-driven insights.
- A/B Testing and Optimization:
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing channels and tactics.
- Develop hypotheses and testing frameworks to validate marketing assumptions and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, operations, and IT.
- Communicate findings and insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team members' understanding and use of Power BI reports.
- Technical Expertise:
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in Power BI and other data visualization tools.
- Implement best practices in data visualization and dashboard design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Power BI reports and data sources.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing analytics, performance analysis, or a similar role.
- Very strong Power BI and SFDC expertise, including creating complex dashboards and reports.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and visualization using Power BI.
- Knowledge of SQL, DAX, and other data query languages.
- Understanding of marketing concepts and metrics (e.g., CTR, conversion rates, CPA).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with other data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Marketo is a major plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Proven experience in designing and analyzing A/B tests.
- Ability to use data to drive insights for optimization and continuous improvement.
- Understanding of statistical methods and their application in marketing performance.
